Benefits for individual Cardmembers
Membership Rewards
The Membership Rewards programme1 gives Corporate Cardmembers the opportunity to earn up to 1.25 Membership Rewards points4 for every S$1.00 charged on eligible, enrolled American Express Corporate Card. They will also earn 2 points4 for every S$1.00 spent on foreign currency transactions, Grab transactions, Computer Hardware, Software and Cloud Services and Online Advertising. For added convenience, individuals can manage their Membership Rewards account online.
The annual membership fee for Membership Rewards programme is S$75.
Cardmembers can enjoy the substantial rewards available to them by using the Corporate Card as their payment method for all business expenses. The benefits include
- Generous redemption of points across a wide range of merchandise including air travel, hotel accommodation, merchandise and shopping vouchers2
- Earn 2 points4 for every S$1.00 charged on foreign currency transactions, Grab transactions, Computer Hardware, Software and Cloud Services and Online Advertising
- Earn up to 1.25 points4 for every S$1.00 charged on all other spend
- Redeem points for credit, transfer to airlines partners, Gift Cards and merchandise
- Membership Rewards points that have no expiry date3
Terms and Conditions
1 An annual Membership Rewards fee applies and enrolment is not automatic. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards programme available here.
2 Shopping Vouchers are issued subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Shopping Voucher issuers.
3 Points will be awarded as long as your Card Account remains valid and enrolled in the Membership Rewards programme, and provided it remains in good standing and is not cancelled for any reason. If you cancel your enrolment from the Membership Rewards programme, you must redeem any points within 30 days of cancellation; otherwise the points will be forfeited. If your Card Account is cancelled or terminated, any points in your Membership Rewards account will be forfeited on the date of account termination.
4 You will earn 1.25 points per S$1.00 on all spend, except for accelerated rewards, other rewards, and the exclusions stated below on your eligible Corporate Card Account, subject to Merchant acceptance and may be amended by American Express from time to time:
- 2 points per S$1.00 spent on foreign currency transactions, Amazon Web Services, Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Grab (excluding top-ups) and Microsoft Online Store
- 0.5 points per S$1.00 spent on AIA and selected utility providers, such as Best Electricity, Geneco, Keppel Electric, PacificLight, Sembcorp Energy, Senoko Energy, Sunseap Energy and Tuas Power
- 0.25 points per S$1.00 spent on Singtel and SP Utilities
Online Services
American Express offers Cardmembers secure and convenient services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to manage their Corporate Card online, including:
Manage Your Card Account (MYCA)
A complimentary service that helps Cardmembers review and reconcile their expenses online, without having to wait for monthly Corporate Card statements. The MYCA service:
- Allows access to account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year
- Tracks current charges and payments, and shows statements for the past 6 months
- Tracks unbilled balances and new charges
- Allows Cardmembers to review their Membership Rewards balance1 and browse the Membership Rewards catalogue.

Online Statements
Enrolment for Online Statements requires individual action by each of your Cardmembers and takes just a few minutes. To ensure your Cardmembers receive monthly statements, they need to enrol in Manage Your Card Account here and register for Online Statements.
Online Statements provide your Cardmembers with the ability to access statement and Account information from anywhere in the world, 24/7, via the internet. This brings greater convenience, speed and simplicity to their day-to-day expense management.
Online fraud protection and guarantee
As an American Express Corporate Cardmember you can make purchases over the Internet secure in the knowledge that you will not be held responsible for any unauthorized charges online, provided you have taken responsible care. You also need to notify American Express immediately1 after discovery of any fraudulent transactions, in compliance with Card Terms and Conditions.
1Immediately means as soon as one is aware but no later than on or before the payment due date of the statement on which the fraudulent transaction appears.
Global Assist
For legal and medical emergencies while travelling, Cardmembers can call the free Global Assist service that will connect them with an English-speaking lawyer or doctor. The service is available 24 hours a day virtually anywhere in the world, whenever Cardmembers travel more 200km from home, for up to 90 days.
To contact Global Assist, please call (65) 6334 0729. When calling from overseas, Cardmembers may request to have call charges reversed by the operator.
Worldwide Customer Care- Services
Cardmembers who book their travel through one of our American Express Travel Service or Representative Offices enjoy the support of our extensive American Express Worldwide Customer Card services in over 2,200 Travel Service locations in more than 140 countries and territories worldwide. Our friendly, highly trained staff will help with the following services:
- Reconfirmation of air-tickets
- Sight-seeing arrangements
- Hotel and car rental reservations
- Flight rescheduling.
Emergency cheque cashing
Cardmembers who need to cash a personal cheque urgently can use their Corporate Card as a valuable form of security. Cardmembers can cash a personal cheque for up to US$1,000 every 7 days in Singapore and every 21 days while overseas at American Express Foreign Exchange Services Offices worldwide.
Corporate Cash
Cardmembers enrolled in the Corporate Cash service can use their Cards to access cash from ATMs worldwide. The cash withdrawal is billed to individual Corporate Card Accounts and appears as a charge on the next statement following the withdrawal. Cash withdrawal is capped at the local currency equivalent of US$1,000 every 7 days. The transaction fee is 5% of the total amount.
Access to the Corporate Cash service is not automatic. Your Company needs to register for this service and Cardmembers must then enrol individually with American Express. In addition, proof of identity to comply with government requirements may be required. Cardmembers will be informed via post when they have been enrolled and will be supplied with a PIN.

Complimentary Business Travel Accident & Medical Insurance
The American Express Corporate Card programme provides several travel-related insurance1 benefits to Cardmembers for no additional charge.
Complimentary Business Travel Accident & Medical Insurance* providing accidental death and dismemberment insurance is automatically provided when common carrier tickets are charged to the Corporate Card. This provides your employees with peace of mind knowing that they are covered in the case of an accident for business trips from their departure, throughout their trip (up to 30 days) and until they return. Additionally they receive limited coverage for personal trips charged to the Corporate Card undertaken while on a wider business trip.

Corporate Card
Business Travel Accident Insurance - When travel tickets for a scheduled carrier are charged to the Corporate Card, you automatically receive comprehensive Travel Accident Insurance at no extra cost2.
Travel Inconvenience Insurance - This provides reimbursement of refreshments, accommodation, and essential clothing due to a delayed or cancelled flight, missed connections, luggage delay or lost luggage when the travel ticket has been charged to the Corporate Card.

Accident Medical Insurance - This provides for reimbursement of medical expenses incurred as a result of injury sustained while travelling on business.
Baggage Insurance - This provides reimbursement for or replacement of lost/damaged baggage while travelling on business on a common carrier.

Recurring Billing
For most Cardmembers, making monthly payments and keeping track of them is a time-consuming exercise. However, Recurring Billing eliminates the hassle of writing several cheques or the inconvenience of incurring late payment charges.
Cardmembers simply need to authorise a participating merchant to bill their charges to their card on a recurring basis. It's that easy.
Cardmembers will still be kept updated on all their expenses through their monthly billing statements.
Participating merchants in the recurring Billing facility include SingTel, StarHub, M1, Seraya Energy, Tuas Power, F&N Coca Cola', Pacific Internet, and QALA.
